These two brothers are buried side by side at the First Presbyterian Church cemetery in Fayetteville. We can olny imagine the tears their family shed over the lives of their sons. We can't change history, we can only study it and learn from it. Many other sons of Lincoln County families also lost their lives in that great conflict, where they are buried is known only to our Heavenly Father, God rest their souls. One brother died at Petersburg,Virginia and the other at chickamauga,Georgia.
